Roger McKnight, chief petroleum analyst at En-Pro International, talks about why gasoline prices are continuing to soar across Canada. He says supply is lagging and when you look at distillates, it’s 16 per cent below the five-year average. He also says refinery runs are slowing, which is normal for this time of the year, but gas demand is still very high for a typical winter season.
